One to one support to organise your thoughts, make decisions and create simple manageable next steps

who do I help?

At baseline, being a woman in this day and age is overwhelming. We carry a lot mentally, juggling responsibilities, decisions and constant to-do lists. 

 

As an Occupational Therapist I offer real, practical support to women who are;

  • Feeling mentally overloaded or stuck and are trying to figure out a way through

     

  • Struggling to get started with a project or make a decision 

     

  • Facing transition or change and are not sure how to navigate it

     

  • Wanting  practical support to manage daily tasks and streamline their day to day lives

How I Help

I offer one-to-one sessions of an hour to an hour and a half, in which we troubleshoot, and problem solve together. We pre-select a specific task or area to focus on within that time and work it through using practical tools and strategies.

 

We will look at the situation and break it down into smaller parts, identify sticking points and establish priorities.  We set realistic and achievable goals and formulate the path to arrive at them so that you walk away feeling lighter, calmer and more confident, knowing the next steps you will take to move forwards.

  • Moving home and the organisation around that

  • Post-school, university or seminary and figuring out the next stage of life

  • Pre Shabbos/ Yom Tov and managing the preparations

  • Preparing for a new baby and for the post-partum period

  • Navigating a job search

  • Planning a big event or a simcha such as a bar mitzvah or wedding 

  • Any situation in which you feel stuck and are not sure where to begin to tackle it

About Me

My name is Chana Gordon

I am an Occupational Therapist with over ten years experience, with this work feeling like a very natural extension of who I am. I have always been someone who helps make things feel a bit clearer and manageable for those around me when life starts to feel overwhelming. 

​

I know from my own experience that overwhelm doesn't necessarily mean something is 'wrong' it usually means there's just too much being held at once. I have had to learn how to break things down in ways that actually work for me and that understanding shapes how I support others. 

​

I'm calm, practical and am not about perfection. Often all that is needed is to simply have the space to sit with someone and think things through in a non-pressurised environment. That is the kind of support that I offer.
